Service Scope & Tier Framework

(Operational Scope for Creative Production Services)

This Service Scope & Tier Framework describes the operational structure of creative services offered by Ecclesia Acoustilabs, LLC ("the Studio"). It explains the workflow, deliverables, and engagement model used when producing AI-assisted music, visual media, and related creative projects.

This document supplements and operates alongside the Ecclesia Acoustilabs Client Agreement & Terms of Service, which governs intellectual property rights, liability, licensing, and other legal matters.

1. Service Definition

Ecclesia Acoustilabs provides professional creative services involving:

  • prompt engineering and curation of generative AI tools
  • arrangement and interpretation of user-provided lyrics
  • audio and visual concept development
  • coordination of third-party production resources
  • coordination of session musicians and manufacturing partners

The Studio's role is to navigate emerging technologies and production systems in order to translate client creative briefs into musical and visual outputs.

2. Service vs. Product Acknowledgment

Clients engage Ecclesia Acoustilabs for professional creative services, including technical expertise, artistic interpretation, and production management.

Clients are purchasing the Studio's time, labor, and technical judgment, not a predetermined manufactured product.

Because generative tools produce non-linear and probabilistic outputs, the Studio does not warrant that the final result will replicate a client's internal vision exactly or produce identical results across iterations.

3. Aesthetic Variance

Clients acknowledge that digital artifacts, unexpected textures, sonic irregularities, interpretive variations, or stylistic deviations may occur when using AI-assisted production tools.

These characteristics are inherent to emerging creative technologies and do not constitute a failure of service.

4. Creative Direction Authority

Ecclesia Acoustilabs functions as the creative director and technical curator for all projects undertaken through its services.

While the Studio considers the Client's Creative Brief and feedback, the Studio retains final authority regarding:

  • production methodology
  • prompt engineering strategies
  • tool selection
  • arrangement interpretation
  • workflow decisions necessary to complete the project

Excessive or conflicting direction that materially disrupts the Studio's workflow may require the Client to transition to a paid Refinement Cycle or a new service tier.

This provision ensures that projects proceed efficiently while preserving the Studio's professional production standards.

5. Intellectual Property Reference

Ownership, licensing rights, and intellectual property provisions governing all project deliverables are defined in the Ecclesia Acoustilabs Client Agreement & Terms of Service.

Clients retain ownership of original self-authored materials submitted to the Studio, including lyrics and personal recordings.

6. Third-Party Production Resources

Certain services may involve third-party providers including:

  • live session musicians
  • transcription services
  • mastering engineers
  • vinyl or CD manufacturing partners

Ecclesia Acoustilabs acts as a production coordinator and executive curator when managing these services.

Quality variations, scheduling constraints, or delivery delays originating from third-party providers are outside the Studio's direct control.

7. Tier I – Musical Proof-of-Concept

Scope

Tier I provides delivery of one (1) curated audio or audiovisual "Musical Proof" file (.wav or .mp3) based on the client's submitted lyrics and Creative Brief.

Purpose

A Musical Proof-of-Concept represents a technical demonstration of a potential musical arrangement generated through AI-assisted production.

Proof Disclaimer

Tier I deliverables are curated likenesses of the Creative Brief and represent the Studio's professional interpretation of the client's concept.

Finality

Tier I is a flat-fee, as-is service.

Delivery of the Musical Proof constitutes completion of the Tier I engagement.

Further technical refinement requires engagement in Tier II.

For full rights transfer, the music must complete Tier III engagement.

8. Tier II – Production Refinement & Alternate Version Requests

Scope

Tier II provides refinement of individual tracks and may include creation of completely alternate music version(s) of the client's lyrics.

Refinement Cycle Structure

Clients may initiate a Refinement Cycle to adjust the sonic direction of a track.

A Refinement Cycle consists of a new submission of the Creative Brief to guide a revised generation process.

Refinement Cycles are billed per cycle.

Cycle Limit

To maintain project momentum, each track is limited to five (5) Refinement and/or Alternate Version Cycles unless otherwise agreed.

Approval Lock

Once a track is approved by the Client, the track becomes Locked for Mastering.

No additional alterations may be made once a track is queued for mastering, distribution preparation, or physical manufacturing.

9. Tier III – Musical Transcription, Audio Mastering, Studio Musician(s) for Hire

Scope

Tier III introduces human performance elements and may include:

  • transcription of AI-generated arrangements into musical notation
  • recording of live session musicians
  • professional instrumental performances
  • advanced audio mastering

Human Interpretation

Musical transcription represents a best-effort translation of generative arrangements into traditional notation.

Live performances are subject to the artistic interpretation of session professionals.

Ecclesia Acoustilabs acts as Executive Producer and session coordinator when managing these resources.

10. Tier IV – Visual Production & Album Compilation

Scope

Tier IV provides AI-assisted visual production (images) cover art for individual tracks and album cover.

Visual Proof Disclaimer

Tier IV visual productions represent technical demonstrations of visual interpretation generated through AI-assisted image tools.

Because generative visual production systems remain experimental, outputs may contain:

  • dream-like transitions
  • stylized visual artifacts

These characteristics are inherent to emerging visual production-generation technologies and constantly evolving and improving.

11. Modular Engagement Structure

Each Tier represents a distinct and independent service engagement.

Completion of any Tier does not obligate the Client to proceed to additional tiers.

Similarly, Ecclesia Acoustilabs, LLC does not guarantee that future services will be offered at the same pricing if third-party production costs or technological requirements change.

Clients may re-engage the Studio at any Tier level subject to availability.

Closing Note

The Service Scope & Tier Framework defines the operational workflow used by Ecclesia Acoustilabs, LLC.

Legal rights, licensing terms, intellectual property provisions, and liability limitations are governed by the Ecclesia Acoustilabs Client Agreement & Terms of Service.
